The lack of endogenous motivation for the recent economic recovery, mainly reflected in the slow recovery in the medium and long-term loans of residents as well as corporate bonds, has prompted the People's Bank of China (PBOC) to continue to cut the deposit reserve ratio to release liquidity in a bid to stabilise the economic recovery.
