Freeport's Q3 performance exceeded expectations thanks to an increase in copper production and sales

According to SMM, the mining company Freeport-McMoran disclosed its third-quarter results, with net profit of US$454 million, or 31 cents per share, compared with US$404 million, or 28 cents per share, in the same period last year.
