Today, the SMM 1# lead average price increased by 75 yuan/mt from yesterday to 16,775 yuan/mt. The ex-factory prices of mainstream secondary refined lead were mainly on par with the SMM 1# lead average price, with individual supplies trading at a discount of 100 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead average price. The ex-factory prices, excluding tax, ranged from 15,750 to 15,900 yuan/mt. Secondary lead suppliers showed low willingness to sell, and downstream battery producers also had limited interest in secondary lead supplies. Today, transactions of secondary lead were sluggish.
