This week (June 7, 2025 - June 13, 2025), the operating rate of primary lead in the three provinces rose slightly by 0.33 percentage points WoW to 70.79%. Recently, a smelter in Henan province resumed normal production of primary lead after starting operations in May. A smelter in Hunan province saw a slight decline in its operating rate. A smelter in Yunnan province slightly increased its production this week in anticipation of subsequent maintenance, leading to a slight increase in its operating rate. Additionally, another smelter in Yunnan province, which was previously expected to undergo routine maintenance in mid-June, will conduct maintenance and implement production cuts next week, while maintaining stable production this week. Outside the sample of the three provinces, a smelter in east China underwent routine maintenance, but its primary lead production did not decrease in May. A smelter in north China, which was previously scheduled for routine maintenance in June, began routine maintenance of its crude lead production this week, and is expected to conduct maintenance and implement production cuts for primary lead next week.
