SMM April 17 News:
According to SMM communication, as of Thursday, April 17, the total zinc ingot inventory in seven regions monitored by SMM was 100,000 mt, a decrease of 2,100 mt compared to April 14, and a decrease of 5,600 mt compared to April 17, indicating a domestic inventory reduction. The center of zinc prices continued to decline this week, with downstream buyers showing high purchasing sentiment in the face of low prices. Inventories in Shanghai and Tianjin decreased significantly, while warehouse arrivals in Guangdong were relatively normal during the week. However, downstream cargo pick-up was relatively small, resulting in relatively small inventory changes. Overall, the inventory in the original three regions decreased by 2,100 mt, and the inventory in seven regions decreased by 5,600 mt.
