SHANGHAI, May 4 (SMM) – Cobalt sulphate prices were temporarily stable last week. Due to the small proportion of long-term orders, cobalt salt plants were under mounting pressure to sell. However, the current low prices and high costs discouraged them from lowering their offers. NMC precursor plants tried to pass their cost pressure to cobalt salt plants amid intensified market competition. SMM expects cobalt sulphate prices to fall slightly.
