SHANGHAI, Apr 24 (SMM) - #0 zinc in Ningbo was quoted with premiums of 135-145 yuan/mt over SHFE 2305 zinc last week. The spread of spot prices in Ningbo and Shanghai was around 60-80 yuan/mt. In the first half of last week, smelters shipped a small number of spots to the market, and some arriving goods were transferred from Shanghai, easing the spot shortage in Ningbo. However, the supply tightened again last Thursday, thus the traders raised their quotes. The spot premiums may run with some upward potential this week amid the downstream stockpiling activities before the Labour Day holiday.
