SHANGHAI, Apr 24 (SMM) - Last week, the TCs of domestic and imported zinc concentrate remained unchanged. According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, the import volume of zinc concentrate in March crashed to 320,800 mt, which was basically in line with expectations. The imports of zinc concentrate in April are expected to drop further based on the actual arrivals in the month. In China, due to the power rationing in Yunnan, some dressing plants in Gejiu cut production, and some large mines suspended production for maintenance. In addition, mines that halted operation earlier have not resumed production yet. The supply of zinc concentrate in the south-west thus remained tight, and the TCs in this region will probably fall. TCs of zinc concentrate in other regions will remain stable for the time being.
