SHANGHAI, Dec 30 (SMM) – The import and export value of automobile products in November 2022 increased slightly from October, according to Customs data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). Compared with the same period last year, the import value of automobile products showed a rapid decline, while the export value maintained rapid growth. In November, the total import and export value of auto products was $22.95 billion, a month-on-month increase of 5.5% and a year-on-year increase of 8.9%. The import value rose 6.7% month on month but shed 23.1% year on year. The export value grew 5.0% month on month and 33.4% year on year.
From January to November, the total import and export value of auto products was $227.96 billion, an increase of 11.9% year on year. The import value was down 7.6% year on year, while the export value climbed 26.9% year on year.
