SHANGHAI, Dec 29 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 5.37 million mt as of Thursday December 29, up 231,400 mt or 4.5% from a week ago, and up 7.8% from the same period last year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 3.5 million mt, up 208,200 mt or 6.32% on the week, and a gain of 9.7% on the year.
The in-plant inventory stood at 1.86 million mt, up 23,200 mt or 1.3% on the week, and up 4.5% on the year.
