SHANGHAI, Dec 29 (SMM) – The total inventory of HRC across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 2.54 million mt as of December 29, up 84,900 mt or 3.46% from a week ago, a decrease of 13.07% on the year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 1.61 million mt, up 99,900 mt or 6.63% from the previous week, a drop of 24.26% on the year.
The in-plant inventory of steel makers totalled 934,300 mt, down 15,000 mt or 1.58% on the week, and a gain of 16.48% on the year.
