SHANGHAI, Oct 20 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 6.08 million mt as of Thursday October 20, down 207,200 mt or 3.3% from a week ago, and down 26.6% from the same period last year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 3.93 million mt, down 220,200 mt or 5.31% on the week, and a drop of 33.4% on the year.
The in-plant inventory stood at 2.15 million mt, up 18,000 mt or 0.6% on the week, and down 9.8% on the year.
