SHANGHAI, Oct 20 (SMM) – The total inventory of HRC across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 3.22 million mt as of October 20, down 142,000 mt or 4.22% from a week ago, a decrease of 9.99% on the year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 2.18 million mt, down 147,300 mt or 6.33% from the previous week, a drop of 19.61% on the year.
The in-plant inventory of steel makers totalled 1.04 million mt, up 5,300 mt or 0.51% on the week, and a gain of 19.98% on the year.
