SHANGHAI, Sep 19 (SMM) -  The prices of battery-grade nickel sulphate followed nickel prices up slightly last week. The problem of insufficient MHP-based nickel sulphate capacity will be difficult to be resolved through the rest of the year. The rapid increase in high-grade nickel matte-based nickel sulphate capacity has partly filled in the supply gap, but the increase was mainly contributed by integrated producers, thus the supply in the spot market remained tight. Despite weak restocking demand, the tight supply will keep nickel sulphate prices at highs this week.
