According to reports, as of December 18, the in-factory inventory of primary lead delivery brands was 10,000 mt, a decrease of 3,100 mt WoW.
This week, some primary lead smelters resumed operations after maintenance, leading to a slight increase in supply compared to last week. However, as lead prices continued to decline during the week, downstream enterprises purchased on demand and bought the dip. Particularly, given the current year-end period, suppliers actively sold goods and recouped funds, resulting in a decrease in smelter inventories. Additionally, due to recent haze impacts in regions such as Henan, vehicle transportation was restricted, and some lead smelters had not fully shipped the sold lead ingots. Once the vehicle transportation restrictions are lifted, the inventory of primary lead enterprises is expected to further decrease.
