In North China today, spot #1 copper cathode against the front-month contract was at a discount of 300-260 yuan/mt, with an average discount of 280 yuan/mt, down 10 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. Transaction prices were 93,100-93,570 yuan/mt, with an average of 93,335 yuan/mt, up 945 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. As copper prices repeatedly strengthened, downstream spot procurement demand was muted, and market transactions were hard to find. In North China today, the procurement sentiment for copper cathode was 1.01, unchanged from the previous trading day, while the sales sentiment was 1.75, up 0.04 from the previous trading day ().
