The SMM #1 lead average price today was flat WoW at 17,075 yuan/mt. Suppliers of secondary refined lead offered few quotations, which were basically flat compared to last Friday. The mainstream spot order quotations including tax were at premiums of -50~0 yuan/mt against the SMM #1 lead average price, while the ex-factory quotations for non-tax refined lead were 15,800~15,950 yuan/mt. Downstream battery producers showed strong wait-and-see sentiment, with low willingness to purchase spot orders, waiting for long-term contract cargo pick-up next month. The procurement sentiment for secondary refined lead today was 1.67, while the sales sentiment was 0.82 (historical data can be queried by logging into the database).
