According to the Miningnews.net website, Resolute Mining announced that the gold ore resources at its mine in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire have increased by 643,000 ounces, bringing the total resources to over 7 million ounces.

The additional resources come from three of the company's projects in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, including two exploration areas at the La Debo project, with the others being ABC and Doropo.

Resolute is updating the feasibility study report this year, aiming to commence construction next year and achieve production in 2028.

A feasibility study completed last year by the project's previous owner indicated that the project would require an investment of $373 million, with an average annual gold production of 200,000 ounces in the first six years of operation and an all-in sustaining cost of $900–$1,000 per ounce.

Doropo and ABC were acquired by the company earlier this year from AngloGold Ashanti for $150 million, with the majority of payments to be made in 2028 and 2029.

ABC currently has resources of 2.2 million ounces, with a gold grade of 0.9 grams per mt.
