On November 11, Zou Lei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of China Energy Investment Corporation, met with Wang Weizhong, Secretary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Party Committee, and Bao Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Autonomous Regional Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Government of the Autonomous Region, in Hohhot. The two sides held discussions on further deepening cooperation. Wang Weizhong, on behalf of the Autonomous Regional Party Committee and government, welcomed Zou Lei and his delegation, expressed gratitude for the long-term support from China Energy Investment Corporation to Inner Mongolia, and provided an overview of the autonomous region's economic and social development. China Energy Investment Corporation has long been deeply engaged in Inner Mongolia, having planned and constructed a large number of projects in areas such as coal, modern coal chemical industry, and new energy, making positive contributions to the economic and social development of the autonomous region. Currently, Inner Mongolia is thoroughly studying, promoting, and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, earnestly learning and adhering to General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions for Inner Mongolia, focusing on building a national important energy and strategic resource base, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of traditional energy, speeding up the development and construction of new energy, vigorously developing industries such as hydrogen energy and ESS, and fully advancing the modern energy economy. It is hoped that China Energy Investment Corporation will leverage its advantages in capital, technology, and talent to continuously expand investments in areas such as new energy, ESS, green electricity for hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol production, modern coal chemical industry, and ecological governance, actively establish research institutions in Inner Mongolia, and better support the high-quality development of Inner Mongolia. Inner Mongolia will continue to create a first-class business environment and provide high-quality, efficient services for enterprise development.
Zou Lei expressed gratitude to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Party Committee and government for their long-standing support to China Energy Investment Corporation and briefly introduced the group's industrial layout in Inner Mongolia, key project construction, and the "16th Five-Year Plan." China Energy Investment Corporation is earnestly studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, fully implementing the deployment for building a strong energy nation, and focusing on cultivating and expanding strategic emerging industries and future industries, actively promoting the "three transformations" development.
