Today in North China, spot prices of #1 copper cathode against the front-month contract were at a discount of 160-120 yuan/mt, with an average discount of 140 yuan/mt, unchanged from the previous trading day. Transaction prices ranged from 86,470 to 86,670 yuan/mt, with an average of 86,570 yuan/mt, up 230 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. As copper prices gradually rebounded, consumption showed signs of weakening, and the spot market returned to a sluggish state, while spot premiums/discounts temporarily stabilized. Today in North China, purchasing sentiment for copper cathode was 2.08, down 0.03 from the previous trading day, while selling sentiment was 1.75, down 0.06 from the previous trading day ().
