As of now, the FOB price for Indonesian MHP nickel is $13,097/mt Ni, and the FOB price for Indonesian MHP cobalt is $23,158/mt Co.
Supply side, recently, in the spot market, some traders have raised quotations due to limited available inventory for sale, with current mainstream quotations for the nickel payable indicator at 87-88%. Affected by downstream restocking, cobalt sulphate prices have also risen, driving up both the quotations and transaction coefficients for cobalt in MHP. Current mainstream quotations are at 70-75%. Demand side, some nickel salt smelters and refined nickel plants have recently inquired for restocking, though overall purchasing sentiment remains relatively weak. Overall, market supply and demand are tight, and the coefficient is expected to have further upside room.
