The most-traded SHFE lead 2510 contract opened at 16,900 yuan/mt today, touched a high of 16,920 yuan/mt in early trading before fluctuating downward. With lackluster end-use consumption, lead prices lacked upward momentum and may maintain fluctuating trend in the short term. It closed at 16,865 yuan/mt today, up 0.09%, with open interest at 50,638 lots.
