On July 30, Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Donghua Technology) released its 2025 semi-annual performance report.
The report showed that during the reporting period, the company achieved total operating revenue of 47.836471 billion yuan, up 9.29% YoY, and net profit attributable to shareholders of the publicly listed firm reached 240.2335 million yuan, up 14.64% YoY.
The YoY revenue growth was primarily driven by steady progress in production and operations, with normal advancement of ongoing EPC projects and increased revenue recognition based on contractual milestones compared to the previous year.
The increase in net profit attributable to shareholders was mainly due to: 1) overall revenue growth; and 2) enhanced refined management of engineering projects, including comprehensive implementation of responsibility cost control, leading to improved gross margin YoY.
Headquartered in Hefei, Anhui, Donghua Technology operates under China National Chemical Engineering Group Co., Ltd., a central enterprise directly supervised by SASAC. The company has expanded into new energy sectors, deploying "generation-grid-load-storage-control integration" systems and "wind-solar-thermal-storage multi-energy complementary" solar thermal power projects. As a member of the National Solar Thermal Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, it undertook China's first batch of CSP demonstration projects including the 100MW parabolic trough project in Urad Middle Banner, Inner Mongolia, and the pioneering "off-grid PV+ESS seawater desalination hydrogen production project" – the Dalian Clean Energy Offshore PV Off-grid Hydrogen Production Project (integrated seawater-to-hydrogen demonstration). The firm also bridges new energy with traditional chemical industries through its "new energy + green chemical" business model, successfully expanding into renewable energy markets.
