On July 11, 2025, Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sinosteel Corporation, officially signed a feasibility study contract with Dashkasan Iron Ore Mine, a state-owned enterprise in Azerbaijan. This marks Sinosteel Corporation's first entry into the Azerbaijani market, particularly taking a crucial step in the field of metallurgical engineering. This is Sinosteel Corporation's first project implementation ("first move") in the metallurgical engineering sector in Azerbaijan, demonstrating the expansion capabilities of Chinese enterprises in overseas markets. Through this collaboration, Sinosteel Corporation will accumulate experience in the South Caucasus region and strengthen its global business layout.
