However, as first-tier brands announced price increases for batteries, the atmosphere in the battery wholesale market was one of rising prices, with the main model 48V12Ah being quoted at 320-340 yuan/set in some regions. Manufacturers in Jiangsu Province reported that the e-bike lead-acid battery market was in the transition period between the off-season and peak season, with new orders showing relative improvement. Recently, the factory production line operating rate had risen above 80%, and raw material lead was being purchased as needed. However, due to the recent consecutive declines in lead prices, procurement was being carried out cautiously. Manufacturers in Jiangxi Province reported that consumption in the e-bike lead-acid battery market remained sluggish, with dealers exercising caution in their purchases. Additionally, the substitution pressure from new-type batteries such as lithium batteries had increased, and battery production lines were still in a state of production cuts, with an operating rate of around 70%.
