According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, China's LFP exports in May 2025 were 941.6 mt, down 18% MoM from April and up 429% YoY. In terms of prices, the average export price of LFP in May 2025 was $5,341.3/mt, a decrease of $865.58/mt from the average price in April, representing a MoM decline of approximately 13.9%.
In the import data from the General Administration of Customs for May 2025, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region remained the top province for LFP exports, with 517 mt, all exported to Vietnam; Anhui province ranked second with 320 mt, and Jiangsu province ranked third with 70.7 mt.
In terms of country-specific export data for LFP in May 2025, Vietnam remained the top country, accounting for 55% of total exports; Taiwan, China ranked second, with 320 mt of LFP exported to Taiwan, China, accounting for 40% of total exports; Poland ranked third, with 52 mt of LFP exported to Poland, accounting for 5.5% of total exports. Other export destinations included the US, South Korea, India, Germany, etc.
Additionally, according to China's customs import data, China's LFP imports in May were 17.66 mt, up 17.7% MoM, primarily imported from Taiwan, China, with an average import price of $14,790.2/mt.
