Today, the SMM 1# lead average price remained flat compared to last Friday at 16,725 yuan/mt. Secondary lead smelters showed extremely low enthusiasm for quoting and shipping, with individual companies offering goods at the same price as last Friday. Secondary lead refined lead and primary lead were basically priced the same. Traders' refined lead cargoes were offered at a discount of 50 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead average price, with a small volume of transactions possible. The ex-factory price of refined lead, excluding tax, was around 15,800 yuan/mt, and downstream battery producers were cautious in purchasing based on their immediate needs.
