This week, end-use consumption in the lead-acid battery market showed mediocre performance. As lead prices rose, some enterprises intended to increase battery selling prices. Among them, first-tier brand enterprises of e-bike lead-acid batteries notified that prices would be raised starting from late June, with a single battery increase of 5-7.5 yuan. Given that the market is currently in the traditional consumption off-season, other second- and third-tier brand enterprises generally adopted a wait-and-see attitude, while dealers engaged in purchasing as needed. Additionally, on the producer side, lead prices fluctuated upward. The secondary lead market had low supply and high prices, so downstream enterprises still preferred primary lead for procurement. After lead prices approached the 17,000 yuan threshold in the second half of the week, downstream enterprises became more cautious about purchasing due to high prices, and trading activity declined.
