Today, the SMM 1# lead average price increased by 75 yuan/mt from yesterday to 16,775 yuan/mt. There were few spot order quotes for secondary lead, and enterprises mainly shipped goods under long-term contracts. The ex-factory prices of mainstream secondary refined lead were mainly at a premium of 0-25 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead average price, with some traders quoting at a discount of around 50 yuan/mt. The ex-factory prices without tax were around 15,800 yuan/mt. Some downstream enterprises purchased some spot orders for restocking yesterday, and their enthusiasm for inquiries and purchases turned to wait-and-see today. However, a few downstream enterprises, fearing price increases in the future, showed higher enthusiasm for inquiries and willingness to purchase today.
