SMM News on June 16:
The transaction price of mainstream brand #0 zinc ingot in the Ningbo market was around 22,030-22,120 yuan/mt. The regular brands in Ningbo were quoted at a premium of 240 yuan/mt against the 2507 contract, and at a premium of 20 yuan/mt against the Shanghai spot cargo. Mainstream quotes in Ningbo were against the 2507 contract. In the first time slot, Yongchang quoted a premium of 300 yuan/mt against the 2507 contract, while Qilin quoted premiums of 240-290 yuan/mt against the 2507 contract. In the second time slot, traders' quotes remained unchanged from the previous time slot. With futures prices maintaining low levels and some traders continuing to sell Qilin zinc ingot at low prices, the overall premium in Ningbo changed relatively small today. Some downstream buyers purchased at low prices, and spot transaction performance was moderate.
