From May 31, 2025 to June 6, 2025, the weekly operating rate of secondary lead in four provinces tracked by SMM was 36.18%, down 3.8 percentage points WoW. Affected by factors such as tight supply of raw materials and loss pressures, multiple smelters in Anhui, Jiangsu, Henan, and Inner Mongolia reduced production, with some smelters intermittently halting furnaces for heat preservation. As a result, the combined operating rate in these four regions declined significantly. Additionally, a smelter in Anhui recently resumed production, but due to raw material supply and environmental protection inspections, its production remains unstable. If normal production can resume next week, the operating rate in Anhui may rise.
