SMM, June 3: Today, the market quotation for rutile titanium dioxide is 13,000-14,000 yuan/mt, while that for anatase titanium dioxide is 12,000-12,800 yuan/mt.
After the holiday, the titanium dioxide market has shown a weakening trend, with some manufacturers lowering their quotations. Among them, the new order price of Longqi's titanium dioxide produced by the sulphuric acid process has been reduced by 1,400 yuan/mt, and other manufacturers are expected to follow suit with lower quotations. Subsequently, there may be a trend of narrowing the price spread between high and low prices in the titanium dioxide market. In the short term, affected by multiple factors such as export barriers and the off-season effect, it is expected that the titanium dioxide market will continue to remain in the doldrums.
