The most-traded SHFE lead 2507 contract opened at 16,760 yuan/mt today. With the Dragon Boat Festival approaching, many downstream enterprises have suspended production and are on holiday, and the spot market performed poorly. After opening, the contract fluctuated downward, reaching a low of 16,680 yuan/mt at the end of the session, and finally closed at 16,705 yuan/mt, down 0.71%, with an open interest of 49,021. Expectations of a temporary lack of consumption in the future have intensified bearish sentiment, and the short-term lead price trend may remain in the doldrums.
