SMM, May 26: The transaction prices of mainstream brand 0# zinc in the Ningbo market were around 22,620-22,755 yuan/mt. Conventional brands in Ningbo were quoted at a premium of 265 yuan/mt against the 2506 contract and at a premium of 70 yuan/mt against Shanghai spot cargo. Mainstream players in Ningbo were quoting against the 2506 contract. In the first time slot, Qilin quoted a premium of 270 yuan/mt against the 2506 contract, while Hualian quoted a delivered premium of 330 yuan/mt against the 2506 contract. In the second time slot, traders maintained their quotes from the previous time slot. Fewer traders were shipping goods in the Ningbo market today. Spot premiums remained high. Downstream players continued to purchase based on immediate needs. However, due to limited supply, traders with inventory were able to complete spot transactions more smoothly. Continuous monitoring of subsequent arrivals is required.
