The supply of domestic lead concentrates remained tight, and the imported ore market was still dominated by seller quotes. Smelters actively negotiated prices, but actual transactions were sluggish. This week, there were signs of another decline in the pb60TC price of imported ore. In the domestic market, smelters were highly motivated to operate, and smelters in Hunan, Inner Mongolia, Henan, and other regions mentioned the market trend where lead concentrate TCs were more likely to fall than rise. Affected by the insufficient supply of imported ore, combined with the recent tight supply of other lead-bearing materials and crude lead, the demand gap for lead concentrates widened. Some smelters slightly reduced their pb50TC quotes to achieve their procurement targets.
