Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 25, Horizon Robotics announced it has recently forged a strategic partnership with global automotive parts giant DENSO.
The collaboration will integrate Horizon Robotics' Journey series computing platforms with DENSO's advanced expertise in ADAS development and vehicle integration, aiming to jointly create highly competitive, next-generation driver-assistance products.
At the Auto Shanghai 2025, DENSO revealed plans to co-develop with Horizon Robotics an integrated ADAS solution tailored to the complexities of China's road environments. The system will enhance the responsiveness of core driving functions—acceleration, steering, and braking—across both urban and highway scenarios, delivering a more dependable and reassuring driving experience.
The joint system will combine DENSO's proprietary sensor technology with Horizon Robotics' Journey platform to build a high-performance, cost-efficient ADAS solution that minimizes reliance on LiDAR. The goal is to accelerate the widespread adoption of advanced driver-assistance technologies.
