Data from the Customs Statistics Online Query Platform showed that China's imports of nickel ore and concentrates in March 2025 reached 1,535,232.97 mt, up 34.54% MoM but down 2.06% YoY.
The Philippines was the largest supplier, with imports of nickel ore and concentrates from the country totaling 1,205,652.098 mt, up 63.95% MoM but down 0.51% YoY.
New Caledonia was the second-largest supplier, with imports of nickel ore and concentrates from the country reaching 149,194.25 mt, up 289.64% MoM but down 21.66% YoY.
