On April 17, the AICE 2025 SMM (20th) Aluminum Industry Conference and Aluminum Industry Expo, hosted by SMM Information & Technology Co., Ltd. and SMM Metal Trading Center, opened in Suzhou. During the conference, the grand 2025 SMM China Aluminum Industry Meritorious Figures Award Ceremony was held to honor entrepreneurs and industry experts who have made outstanding contributions to the industry. Mr. Dong Chunming, General Manager of Shangqing Times Metal Information Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and founder of Shang Magnesium Network, was awarded the "Cornerstone Award." Mr. Dong Chunming currently serves as the General Manager of Shangqing Times Metal Information Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd., ASI Advisor of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative, China Coordinator of the Global Aluminum Foil Producer Initiative, and founder of Shang Magnesium Network. He is also a standing council member of the Magnesium Alloy Branch of the Chinese Materials Research Society, an expert of the China Nonferrous Metals Processing Industry Association, and a member of the Expert Committee of the Shanghai Aluminum Industry Association. Mr. Dong Chunming has long been engaged in the research, information consulting, and business services of the aluminum and magnesium light metal industry and market, providing related services to many domestic and overseas enterprises and institutions.
