This week, the prices of DC-side battery cabins remained stable overall. The average price of a 5MWh DC-side battery cabin was 0.43 yuan/Wh, while the average price of 3.44/3.77MWh DC-side battery cabins was 0.438 yuan/Wh. The US has continued to escalate tariff sanctions against China, but ESS projects have recently been scheduled according to demand, and the prices of DC-side battery cabins have remained stable.
On April 14, the winning bid result for the EPC general contracting project of the 200,000 kW/800,000 kWh grid-forming ESS project in Yecheng was announced. The project is located in the Yecheng area of Kashgar, Xinjiang, and is expected to construct a 200MW/800MWh grid-forming ESS power station. The bid winner quoted 861.52 million yuan, with a unit price of 1.077 yuan/Wh after conversion.
