SMM EMM Daily Review: Sentiment to Stand Firm on Quotes Slightly Pulls Back, Spot Price Drops Slightly. The average spot price of EMM in the main production areas was 13,350-13,550 yuan/mt, flat MoM. The average FOB price was $1,870-1,900/mt, flat MoM. Supply side, EMM plants slightly lowered their quotes and then stabilized, with EMM plants mainly delivering long-term contract orders, and the willingness to sell spot orders was weak. Demand side, downstream buyers were active in inquiries, and the actual transaction situation in the later market still needs to be monitored.
