The Caixin China Manufacturing PMI for March recorded 51.2, an increase of 0.4 percentage points from February, reaching a new high since December 2024, indicating that manufacturing production and business activities continued to accelerate expansion. From the sub-indices of the Caixin China Manufacturing PMI, the supply and demand in the manufacturing sector maintained an expansion trend. The production index in March slightly rose within the expansion territory to the highest level in nearly four months, while the new orders index slightly declined but remained above the threshold.
