Domestic silicon metal producers' quotations dropped slightly, and quotations in Xinjiang also softened. Domestic silicon metal inventory levels continued to rise recently. Affected by weak downstream demand, producers' destocking sentiment increased, and prices dropped slightly. The price of monochloride increased slightly this week, with transaction prices in east China at 2,200 yuan/mt. Comprehensive costs decreased slightly WoW, and monomer producers' profits increased.
DMC: Domestic DMC quotations this week were 14,300-14,800 yuan/mt, with the average price down 50 yuan/mt WoW. A Shandong monomer producer's online store opened DMC quotations at 14,400 yuan/mt, stable WoW. A leading enterprise's DMC quotation was 14,800 yuan/mt. Other domestic monomer producers' DMC quotations were around 14,500 yuan/mt this week. After the price increase last week, market transactions were slightly boosted, but entering this week, as panic stockpiling by some downstream enterprises ended, market transactions declined again. Monomer producers' order-taking situation was not good, and some traders' market quotations were slightly lowered this week, offering discounts to sell, leading to a decline in low transaction prices and a slight decrease in the market average price.
Silicone oil: Domestic dimethyl silicone oil quotations were lowered this week, with current market quotations at 15,500-16,600 yuan/mt, averaging 16,050 yuan/mt, down 100 yuan/mt WoW. Domestic monomer producers' silicone oil quotations remained stable this week, but some silicone oil producers began offering discounts to sell this week. The transaction center of silicone oil shifted slightly downward, but downstream enterprises' purchasing sentiment remained relatively sluggish. It is expected that silicone oil prices will remain stable in the near future.
107 silicone rubber: The low transaction price of 107 silicone rubber dropped this week, with current quotations at 14,200-15,000 yuan/mt, averaging 14,600 yuan/mt, down 150 yuan/mt WoW. Recently, some domestic 107 silicone rubber producers' quotations began to decline due to the relatively ordinary order-taking effect. The mainstream transaction center dropped from 14,500 yuan/mt to 14,200 yuan/mt, and some domestic offset goods prices were lower than mainstream market quotations. Downstream enterprises began to purchase at slightly lower prices, and the overall market transaction sentiment declined WoW.
Silicone MVQ: The price of silicone MVQ this week was 14,800-15,500 yuan/mt, averaging 15,150 yuan/mt, down 50 yuan/mt WoW. Domestic MVQ market transactions declined this week, and downstream enterprises' inquiries were also fewer. A leading enterprise's inventory level resistance was moderate due to more low-price sales in the previous period, and the sentiment to stand firm on quotes remained unchanged, so prices were temporarily unchanged. However, some small MVQ enterprises offered slight discounts to sell to ensure inventory levels, and market low prices dropped slightly.
