In North China, #1 copper cathode spot prices against the front-month contract ranged from a discount of 210 to 150 yuan/mt, with an average discount of 180 yuan/mt, unchanged from the previous trading day. The transaction price was 81,250-81,550 yuan/mt, with an average of 81,400 yuan/mt, up 555 yuan/mt from the previous trading day.
SMM March 25 News: In North China, spot prices of #1 copper cathode against the front-month contract ranged from a discount of 210 to 150 yuan/mt, with an average discount of 180 yuan/mt, unchanged from the previous trading day. The transaction price was 81,250-81,550 yuan/mt, with an average of 81,400 yuan/mt, up 5,550 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. The center of copper prices rebounded again, but downstream restocking sentiment was poor. However, some suppliers had already cleared their inventory and were unwilling to sell at low prices, preventing further declines in spot premiums and discounts, although market activity remained low.
