SMM March 14 News: According to SMM communication, as of this Thursday (March 13), the total zinc ingot inventory across seven regions tracked by SMM stood at 135,900 mt, an increase of 1,900 mt compared to March 6 and an increase of 100 mt compared to March 10, indicating a rise in domestic inventory. In Shanghai and Guangdong, warehouse arrivals were limited during the week, while downstream consumption gradually recovered, leading to more enterprises restocking at lower prices and a slight decrease in inventory. In Tianjin, arrivals were relatively high this week, but environmental protection-driven production restrictions in northern regions continued, resulting in overall moderate market demand and a slight increase in inventory.
