Ex-factory quotations in the south China market were quoted at discounts of 100-0 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead average price, while discounts in east and central China were mainly at 50-0 yuan/mt. The mainstream ex-factory price of tax-free low-bismuth refined lead nationwide was 15,850-16,000 yuan/mt. During the week, lead prices remained range-bound, and smelters' scrap battery procurement prices also saw little adjustment. The profitability of secondary lead showed relatively small changes compared to last Friday.
