February 28 News: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price remained unchanged from yesterday at 16,925 yuan/mt. During the early trading session, ex-factory quotations for secondary refined lead were mainly quoted at discounts of 50-0 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead price, while some high-bismuth lead was quoted at discounts of 100-75 yuan/mt. Today's ex-factory quotations for tax-free refined lead ranged from 15,850-15,950 yuan/mt, with 15,900 yuan/mt being the mainstream price. Downstream battery producers indicated that just-in-time procurement willingness for lead ingots increased as a new month approached, while suppliers reported reduced availability of goods. Overall, refined lead transactions showed some improvement.
