Cost: This week, the average price of #421 silicon (for silicone) in east China was 12,100 yuan/mt, down by 50 yuan/mt WoW. Producers made slight concessions this week due to weakened demand. The price of trichlorosilane remained stable this week, with transaction prices in east China at 2,200 yuan/mt. Overall costs decreased slightly compared to last week.
DMC: This week, domestic DMC quotations ranged from 13,700 to 14,300 yuan/mt, with market quotations rising again. Transaction prices increased compared to the same period last week. The opening quotation for DMC on the online platform of a Shandong monomer enterprise was 13,500 yuan/mt, with prices first decreasing and then increasing due to changes in trading methods. Leading enterprises quoted DMC at 14,300 yuan/mt, an increase of 500 yuan/mt. Other domestic monomer enterprises quoted DMC at around 14,000 yuan/mt this week, up by 500 yuan/mt WoW. The mainstream transaction center in the market also rose accordingly, while downstream enterprises showed a declining willingness to accept the prices, leading to a stalemate in negotiations recently.
Silicone Oil: This week, domestic dimethyl silicone oil prices increased, with current market quotations ranging from 15,000 to 15,800 yuan/mt and an average price of 15,400 yuan/mt, up by 50 yuan/mt WoW. The recovery in silicone oil demand has been limited recently, with demand in fields such as textile and dyeing remaining relatively stable. This round of price increases was influenced by bullish sentiment, resulting in a slight rise in silicone oil prices.
107 Silicone Rubber: This week, the price of 107 silicone rubber rose again, with current quotations ranging from 13,800 to 14,300 yuan/mt and an average price of 14,050 yuan/mt, up by 200 yuan/mt WoW. Leading enterprises raised their quotations for 107 silicone rubber by 500 yuan/mt this week. The price of room-temperature silicone rubber also increased again, supported by overall strong demand and cost performance, which in turn drove up the price of 107 silicone rubber.
Silicone MVQ: This week, the price of silicone MVQ ranged from 14,300 to 15,000 yuan/mt, with an average price of 14,650 yuan/mt, remaining relatively stable WoW. Although domestic silicone MVQ enterprises raised their quotations this week, the overall market quotation range remained stable. The market purchasing center was influenced by price increases from leading enterprises, leading to a higher willingness to accept prices downstream. This week, prices remained stable, with negotiations between upstream and downstream dominating the market.
