Today, spot copper in North China was quoted at a discount of 350-290 yuan/mt against the front-month contract, with an average discount of 320 yuan/mt, unchanged from the previous trading day. Transaction prices ranged from 76,610-76,850 yuan/mt, with an average price of 76,730 yuan/mt, down 170 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. Copper prices hovered around 77,000 yuan/mt, with consumption remaining sluggish. Market demand showed no significant fluctuations, primarily focusing on the execution of long-term contracts. Spot trading activity was sluggish, and spot premiums/discounts remained stable.
