SMM, February 24: Today, rare earth market prices rose slightly. Pr-Nd oxide prices climbed to 445,000-450,000 yuan/mt, dysprosium oxide remained stable at 1.72-1.73 million yuan/mt, and terbium oxide increased to 6.2-6.25 million yuan/mt. In the metal market, Pr-Nd alloy prices rose to 549,000-553,000 yuan/mt, dysprosium-iron alloy remained stable at 1.7-1.74 million yuan/mt, and terbium metal prices increased to 7.8-7.85 million yuan/mt. Gadolinium-iron prices rose to 160,000-163,000 yuan/mt, while lanthanum-cerium metal remained at 17,000-19,000 yuan/mt. Currently, influenced by market sentiment and speculative factors, rare earth prices continue to rise. However, actual high-price transactions in the market are difficult to achieve, downstream purchase willingness is low, and the market atmosphere is subdued with a prevailing wait-and-see sentiment. It is expected that under intense back-and-forth negotiations between upstream and downstream, rare earth prices may fluctuate slightly.
