SMM reported on February 21: Recently, the end-use consumption in the lead-acid battery market for e-bikes and automobiles has shown mediocre performance. After completing the customary restocking following the Chinese New Year, dealers have seen a relative weakening in new orders for producers, and their procurement of lead ingots has also been relatively cautious, focusing mainly on just-in-time procurement. Even after the delivery of the SHFE lead 2502 contract, the spot market remains relatively well-supplied, providing downstream enterprises with more procurement options. Additionally, there has been no significant change in the selling price in the battery wholesale market, with the main model of e-bike batteries, 48V20Ah, priced at 410-430 yuan per unit.
